Sport: Robin Hood Festival of Running / Victoria Embankment

The Victoria Embankment will once again be the focal point for this annual orgy of putting one foot in front of the other, as the more athletically-inclined members of the local area gather together to run around and tire themselves out. The centrepiece for the serious runner is, of course, the full marathon, but with the massively popular half-marathon, a fun run, corporate and school events and even a sprint challenge, there is something for everyone. For the masochists amongst us who enjoy watching sweaty, exhausted friends and family limp over the finish line, entertainment, food and drink will be on hand.
